ANNUAL REPORT TO PARENTS – 2023\/2024<\/strong><\/div>\n

ACCOUNT<\/strong><\/p>\n

The accounts for the financial year 2023 \u2013 2024 have been inspected by an independent auditor and a balance sheet prepared.\u00a0 As a non profit making organisation we are required to make this available to interested parties. If you would like to see a copy, please contact the manager, Fiona Henderson. She will be happy to answer any queries you may have.<\/p>\n

FUNDRAISING<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our fundraising is on going, if anyone has any new ideas for fundraising,\u00a0 please contact Fiona Henderson.<\/p>\n

On July 12th 2025 at 1-4pm we will be celebrating preschool being open for 60 years and the church being here for 90 years.\u00a0 There will be a makers market in the carpark, a bouncy castle and BBQ on the field, preschool outside areas will be open for play and we will have a room with photos from years gone by.\u00a0 Look out for more information soon….<\/strong><\/p>\n

FEES<\/strong><\/p>\n

Children attending before they are funded or who take additional hours pay fees directly to the pre-school. – Committee agreed the hourly rate will be \u00a36.00.\u00a0 Therefore a full day is \u00a336, a morning session is \u00a318.00 and an afternoon session is \u00a318.00.<\/strong><\/p>\n

FUNDING<\/strong><\/p>\n

Preschool accepts 30 hour codes for eligible 3\/4 year olds.<\/p>\n

NEW government funding for eligible 2 year olds will be available from April 2024 including the working parents and disadvantage 2 year olds.\u00a0 Further funding for 2 year olds will be available from April 2025.<\/p>\n

Both these funding’s must<\/strong> be applied for through the government website.<\/p>\n

Please Note<\/strong>: Preschool may not be able to accommodate all those eligible.<\/p>\n

TAX FREE CHILDCARE<\/strong><\/p>\n

Some of our parents have been using Childcare Vouchers which have been offered by some employers. Tax Free Childcare is available to everyone through a government scheme.<\/p>\n

Details of the scheme can be found online.<\/p>\n

STAFF<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fiona Henderson, Alison Rosevere, Helen Morgan, Jill Barratt,\u00a0 Melanie MacDonald, Ben Henderson and our treasurer Pauline Hinchliffe.<\/p>\n

Fiona Henderson has completed a degree in child care.\u00a0 All staff are First Aid paediatric trained and have all have upto date\u00a0 safeguarding training.<\/p>\n

SEN support<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fiona Henderson continues to be the SENCO for the setting with Alison Rosevere being her deputy.\u00a0 They are able to\u00a0 give support and information to families with children with additional needs and arrange outside agency help if needed.<\/p>\n

STAFF TRAINING<\/strong><\/p>\n

All staff are up to date with First Aid and Safeguarding training.\u00a0 Fiona Henderson and Alison Rosevere continue to attend safeguarding updates throughout the year.<\/p>\n

Fiona Henderson has also completed a Selective Mutism Course, Well Being,\u00a0 Makaton and suicide\/self harm awareness.<\/p>\n

4 staff members completed a level 2 Autism awareness course.<\/p>\n

Fiona Henderson continues to keep up to date with Capt Training through the Child Accident Prevention Trust and has been passing on valuable information to parents.<\/p>\n

POLICIES<\/strong><\/p>\n

Policies covering all areas of our work have been updated and a set of\u00a0 these can be found in the entrance hall.\u00a0 \u00a0 All policies are passed by the committee.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
