ANNUAL REPORT TO PARENTS – 202/2024

ACCOUNT

The accounts for the financial year 2023 – 2024 have been inspected by an independent auditor and a balance sheet prepared.  As a non profit making organisation we are required to make this available to interested parties. If you would like to see a copy, please contact the manager, Fiona Henderson. She will be happy to answer any queries you may have.

FUNDRAISING

Our fundraising is on going, if anyone has any new ideas for fundraising,  please contact Fiona Henderson.

Our famous curry night at the Sangam took place on 27th September.  A great evening with lovely food and all money raised  (£208.90) went straight to preschool.  We collected food for the Trusle Trust for Harvest and our Elfie Tea Party for St Ann’s Hospice raised money towards their new re build.  After a visit by Father Christmas and our Christmas nativity and pop up fair on 13th December we raised just over £500.

FEES

Children attending before they are funded or who take additional hours pay fees directly to the pre-school. – Committee agreed that from April 2023 the hourly rate will be £6.00.  Therefore a full day is £36, a morning session is £18.00 and an afternoon session is £18.00.

FUNDING

Preschool accepts 30 hour codes for eligible 3/4 year olds.

NEW government funding for eligible 2 year olds will be available from April 2024 including the working parents and disadvantage 2 year olds.

Both these funding’s must be applied for through the government website.

Please Note: Preschool may not be able to accommodate all those eligible.

Some of our parents have been using Childcare Vouchers which have been offered by some employers. Tax Free Childcare is available to everyone through a government scheme.
